I wasn’t doing very much yesterday afternoon – went to the gym – that’s about it. After I came home I remembered I had this idea a little while back to do a small widget for estimating taxi cab fares.

So I threw some images together, got the google map integrated, bought the domain and voila! taxime.ca was born.

Go and give it a shot. Just enter your address in the following format 123 Fake St, Ottawa, ON and you should be fine. I have a few things that I still want to do with it: make it work with the iPhone/mobile devices and have a printable stylesheet.
